Although he didn't hurt the team, I think last nights game was clear proof you can't just join a team midseason, practice for a week and then be on par with the rest of the players in the league. I don't care what kind of team he was skating with back home, it wasn't near NHL calibre. He is in pre-season mode while the rest of the players are in mid-season mode. I think we'll see him at his best in about 10 games, I just hope Canuck fans are patient and can wait that long for him to get up to speed with the rest of the league. As a Canuck fan I'm really looking forward to post-all star break with a game fit Sundin on the top line, and a healthy Luongo in the pipes.
