One thing for certain the new coach will inherit an immensely talented team minus an NFL QB...He will have plenty to work with and the shelves are far far from bare...

On another note, what happened to the Kap that took off running. Seems like when that stopped so did the Frisco offense.

Also, the disappearance of TE Vernon Davis is troubling to say the least. Vernon Davis always a mainstay of the offense has done a major disappearing act this year. Maybe he still isn't healthy but something is wrong.

This years Frisco team has their issues and a lack of talent isn't one of them...A team with this much talent and majorly underachieving only place to look is at the top. Hopefully Harbaugh can land his Alma Mater job and he can resurrect that wailing program.

with Green Bay the last few times they met.....They Packers never seemed able to contain him and they lost.

People like you should not make statements that you cannot back up. Obviously you have no idea what you are talking about, do you? Let me tell you something little man. I made more money with one wager this season than you have made in total. Only losers use the past to excuse the present. The '9ers have accomplished nothing, compared to what was expected out of them. Did they win a Superbowl? Haarbaugh has been there four seasons. He lost 3 games in 2011 but lost to the Giants in the playoffs. He lost 4 games in 2012 and lost the Superbowl. He lost 4 games last season and lost to Seattle in the playoffs. This season his team lost 7 games so far, and is just terible. His team was humiliated by a terrible Okaland Raider team.

Now I will be glad to put my football knowledge up against yours any time, any day. If you think you know so much, put up or shut up. Start with this. Who wins the NFC and AFC titles. Name your teams and tell the audience why you are taking those teams.

Sometimes these types just jump in feeling that they are contributing. As always, I respect your comments. GL

Lmao, you have no knowledge if this is why you believe he is going to be fired.

He took a team that did not make the playoffs in the previous 8 years and went 46-82... and in his first 3 years he went 36-11-1, 3 conference championships, and 1 super bowl... and you think they are firing him because that performance. That's a better resume than 90% of coaches in the NFL.

You're out of your mind. He is an elite football coach that just doesn't get along with the 49er big whigs. Nothing more to it.

Big wigs! Reports are there is descent in the locker room. Reports are that he doesn't get along with the players. It is over when that happens.

The second rumors came out that they were trying to trade him was a sign that there were complications. You don't get rid of a coach who just went to 3 consecutive conference champ games unless there are issues. Ever since then, it has been nonstop talk about Harbaugh leaving, even before last season ended. So maybe there is descent in the locker room now, but that definitely didn't start the "Harbaugh is gone" talk. You definitely can't make a case that it's his record as the reason they want to get rid of him.
