I'm going to Alaska in June. Visiting my wife's mother who is an air traffic controller there.

I'm running a marathon in Anchorage on the last day there. I did book first class tickets for the flight home!

I've never been to Alaska, so I'm looking forward to it.

much more south.. I'm close to Charlottesville (UVA)

I went up one year but it was 100+ degrees and I wasn't feeling being out there all day and dealing with all the traffic and people.. I love fireworks, more than most.. but Unless its beautiful I just can't see it being worth it with those crowds and needing to get there that early.

Do you know where Stanardsville is? I have a lake front lot there I'm debating building a cabin on.

I live in Arlington and have done 4th of July in DC several times. Did it last year....rode bikes from Ft Myer over the Memorial Bridge and watched the fireworks near the Lincoln Memorial. It's a shit show w/ hundreds of thousands of people. Cool experience though.

JUNE,JULY,AUGUST,will be going to pirates games,and if they keep sucking as they are now,i just may dump the last 2 games


VEGAS,right after labor day for the opening week of the NFL,..this is something i do every year
