I do not condone women killing babies and when they do, they should face the murder rap. Babies need to be loved and hugged not poked and choked. This is what I think about this here issue and this here matter on that there matter, and that there issue.

To those who propose criminal charges and prison sentences

1) Who will be the complaining party?

2) How will evidence be legally procured?

3) Are we just charging the woman in this "murder"? Or will we also include the doctor(s), their staff, family members who helped finance the "murder" etc?

The state will be the complainant, just like it is is domestic violence cases and others. Subpoena the medical records that will show an abortion has taken place. Doctors wouldn't be able to legally perform abortions if it was a crime to have them.

Easily answered questions barman. None of this will ever happen though.

only if the subject (patient) of the medical procedures gives his or her consent

Such subpoenas procure information used to legally demonstrate damage(s) to a plaintiff by another party. But no subpoena can forcibly compel any American to incriminate themselves.

Both the First and 5th Amendment protect Americans from being legally compelled to give their private medical information to a court without consent
