I have a small garden and I do this (have rain buckets). I've seen some elaborate rain catching designs for larger gardens. I'll probably improve my system next year, as I plan to increase the size of my garden.

Vow to only drink water (from the tap if possible). You can cut out a lot of expense in the course of the month by ditching the soft drinks and alcohol and sticking to a water-only policy. Drinking water before meals will also help you curb your hunger!

I’ll shop 3 grocery stores only buying sale items and if I have a coupon to go with it the better. Look for the clearance items as well. Sometimes there will be a quick sale shelf of dented soup or vegetable cans reduced considerably in price.

many times the coupons in the sunday paper are for items that will be on sale within the next couple of weeks.

Poster Doug once posted a promo code, for a no deposit $100 from Oddsmaker, in 2004ish. He already used it, but I also used it after, about 4 times. Eventually I was able to cash out, for the max, whatever it was. Maybe 1,500 or 1,800, after the fee.

I tried to get them again, but they recognized my internet address. The previous 4 times they didn't.
