The worst job I ever had was selling newspaper subscriptions door to door in the housing projects of Toronto.
It was January, I had a shave head. I'm a really White MF.
The moment that made me quit on the spot was when I Knocked on a front door and licked my lips to start talking and at the same moment a gust of wind whipped by and froze the spit on my lips.
A Large black man answered the door and gave me a "What the fuck are you doing in this neighborhood" Look
I needed to eat so I went it to my sales pitch but my lips were frozen.
I sounded like Mushmouth "I w-w-w-w-wud, Li-li-li-li-lik to sewl u a pappuh"
Did I mention I looked like a skinhead? White, Shaved head, black pants and jacket?
The very large black man gave me 10 seconds to "Get the Fuck Outta..."
and I was done...
