Two from me.
1) After having seen my first MLB game in RFK Stadium three years previous resulting in my becoming a Senators fan (though living in Texas), I was able to attend the first game in Arlington for the LittleRangers.
Longtime Senator slugger, Frank 'Hondo' Howard (The Capital Punisher) went YARD to deep center in his third AB and I became a fan forever of The Great Game.
2) Aug 8, 1977. The LittleRangers pull their first triple play. With runners on first and second, aging Oakland catcher Manny Sanguillen hits a hot groundball to 3B Toby Harrah who goes around the horn to Bump Wills and Mike Hargrove.
Unlike Felix Unger at Three Rivers, we DID see the play as it happened...
