What's the Point of Cohen testifying Before Congress on TV?

one should understand that Wednesday's testimony and questioning was more about influencing
public perception rather than getting to the facts on BOTH sides. topics and revelations that
were brought up were well known to the FBI and SDNY which are far more interested in determining
the facts than getting facetime on tv.

nah the media never conspires to deflect focus of things like asian wars and the biggest piece of anti-gun legislation the House has passed in a quarter of a century. learning the bombshell that Trump and Cohen are assholes was much more important

clinton was impeached but not removed from office even though he may of committed crimes
and/or perjured himself, and/or mislead special consul, and/or host of other illegal
and gray area acts (pick one or more depending upon your beliefs). he was not removed
because during the time of the investigation(s), because the economy improved a lot and he
became much more popular. it was determined by many congressmen that it would
be a political mistake and bad for their careers to remove Clinton from office despite
the fact he did, may of, or could of committed crimes while in office. rest assured
that the president and his allies along with his opposition are very aware of recent
past history. that is why you are seeing such strong measures on both sides to
influence public opinion. I do think that trump would be better served by muzzling
his lawyer, rudy, as much as possible.
