Surprised no one said ER. The early years were a must watch. My girls would be in bed and my son was about 4 and would sit on my lap in the rocking chair before he would go to bed. I didnt think he was even watching it. One day he said "Doctor Green is my favorite". Another time he told me "There was too much blood". Kind of decided maybe he shouldnt sit and watch it with us after that.

For comedies: Cheers was great and I think Everybody Loves Raymond
