I remember it well, it was never a game, Miami had Ray Lucas who looked like a deer in the headlights that night..... the reason it was so memorable to me, that was the last leg of a 7teamer I had going and I never had a chance!

I am a lightweight.
About three years ago I had won a three teamer for $50, paid $350 and I put it all on a single straight wager....I'm pretty sure it was a Tenn Titans bet...they were ok at halftime and I was talking to the Spousal Unit about how good I was going to treat her with the forthcoming $500 withdrawal.
Since then, she cocks dubious eyes at most of my sports capping, no matter what the overall numbers are....
Oh, as for worst 'record' days, I had a day a couple years ago where I was wanting to play college baskets, but only had a couple hundred bucks in account and I had narrowed down the 60 game schedule to six Sides and six Totals. I put them in four 3T Parlays, hoping to pop one or more.
Lost all TWELVE choices.
I sent a Memo to Carib (where it happened) and asked them if they had a special prize for winning an ANTI-12 Team Parlay.
They didn't, but typed in that cheerful, NO STEPHEN, WE DON'T, BUT THANK YOU FOR PLAYING!!

I was young lad in Kazkhstan and I called up to bookie Ivan and lost in morning starting with a bunch of wrestling matches and then I even lost table tenis bets on a tune for 0-7!!!

LOST OVER 12G ON THE A'S/DODGERS WORLD SERIES
AND contributed to a 15G MASSACRE WHEN THE DODGERS BEAT THE BEATS EARLIER AND then topped it off by losing over 33G on the basketball season when I stopped gambling in late February,
not to be deterred by the Stock Market Crash that past October and some other investments costing me over 60G more.
Stopped gambling after that for a few years and had to sell my house and downsize from using my equity loan to pay off my debts.
The best lesson I ever learned, not to bet with scared money and chase and THANKFULLY have turned it around successfully and able to look back on those days with a smile.
I wager to have FUN now even if it is for lots of $$$. Never gamble to pay the bills.
By the way, I HATE KIRK GIBSON and hit him with every pitch when I played Nintendo with my son and will never forget Eck not throwing a FASTBALL by Kirk in the World Series.
