I think we can all agree that the NFL is the easiest. And it's not even really close.

:think2:

NFL one of the hardest by far

of course if one perused all the nfl threads on therx you would think everybody is killing it....I assure you that is not the case. there is a reason some syndicates do not bet it.

I don't understand why so many people think the NBA is hard to cap.. I actually find it one of the more easier ones to cap..

I'd have to say baseball cause of the non-sense of urgency. But I'm not really into baseball so that might be it..

And I can't understand how anyone would think the NBA is easy to cap. We're talking about garbage time and point spreads, lack of motivation, and leaving a lot to chance. I think baseball is one of the easier sports to cap, for a few reasons: You are just betting the winner of the game, streaks are more influential in MLB than any other sport, etc. Also, the fact that mlb is played in 3 and 4 game series is a big advantage for the percentage players.

these threads are interesting though, as obviously everyone has a different experience. I think MLB and NFL are the 2 sports that can be beat most easily.

e) none of the above

NBA- easiest if you just shop like hell for good numbers, as the numbers come into play in this sport more than any other.

NFL- Find a local who bumps favs and you can win by just betting against public teams.

MLB- 5 cent lines= best value in sports.

NHL- can't be put into the same class as the 3 others as it isnt really a sport.:missingte

In all honesty too tough to call (IMO). To each his own but if I had to pick 1 it would be baseball, barely.

MLB will always be the hardest. Really the only sport where 1 guy loses the game for the team consistently. Team would be winning the entire game, reliever comes and blows it or pitcher gives up 5 runs in first inning. I just dont like the amount of control these pitchers have up there on the hill. A quarterback has a running back he can just hand off too if things get messy. Nba you can choose to pass it to him or not. but baseball you just never know. Could have the best pitcher in baseball pitching his best game of his career and they still lose because just so happens the oppossing pitcher is on that night too so then the reliever gives up a run and they win 1-0. nfl qb can throw ints fumbles but the defense can save the team by not letting up.

nba is a personal favorite. think all you need to know is the teams and players and you can win consistently

They're talking about actual handicapping ;)

MLB- 5 cent lines= best value in sports.

Throw in variation of what line sports books offer and you get a very low margin.

Easiest is M.L.B., grew up listening and then watching the game plus there's really not much else going on sport's wise.

Hardest is the N.F.L. mostly since it's in the middle of a horse meet I've been wagering upon for decades.

well, my vote was for the nba. i have never had much success other than on totals. sides seem so unpredictable especially when certain players only play when they want to.
