Quit fussing about the white cop shown on video killing an unarmed, non-contensious black civilian

Just be glad that MN police successfully arrested a black/Latino reporter from CNN while he was broadcasting live and clearly speaking "We will move to wherever you tell us".....and at same time they ignored the other three white CNN crew standing right next to him

We do not need media focusing on the crimes of police v civilians.....that's just cheap clickbait and probably Fake News

We need more hours of coverage re Tyrone killing Pancho on the south side of Chicago

Why is your narrative and the media's narrative that the reporter is a minority? Why does that thought process even come into play in a very liberal progressive city?

Why is this always a question?

Guys, this is a high-profile murder case. Do you realize how hard it is to convict a cop who's job inherently involves the use of force? It's not as clear as you think it is and a prosecutor has to do everything within their power to facilitate an air tight case.

What if the Minneapolis PD actually trained cops to use the maneuver that cop used and encouraged them to use it? I don't assume this is true but what if they did? That changes the charges right? Well, it takes time to investigate that and understand the situation. You simply can't rush things and overcharge a suspect or they walk free.

Why is everyone always in such a rush? Calm the fuck down and let some very smart people do their jobs thoroughly so the outcome is the best it can be for everyone. If you rush a murder charge, it's a good chance the guy walks.

Hey dude....you do the same thing this cop did you're in jail while they conduct they're "investigation". There is no argument in that, none.

Typically I'm 99% on the cops side with these types of things, but not an unarmed CUFFED man. 4 cops couldn't get him in the cruiser?
I won't rush to a conviction, but I WILL rush to get him off the street. That man does not deserve to be free right now. No way.

Meanwhile, from high atop the bundled linens in his bed deep inside the White House, the POTUS tweets:

The National Guard has arrived on the scene. They are in Minneapolis and fully prepared. George Floyd will not have died in vain. Respect his memory!!!

-------

He wants so desperately to be viewed as The Man in charge but tough news is the MNNG is under the jurisdiction of the Governor of MN....so pretty much no one gives a crap what Tiny thinks about yet another topic

I think you’d agree right now nobody in Minnesota is in charge.

From what I see right now on Fox News of the leadership in Minnesota (News Conference) it will be more of the same tonight....Minnesota playing pattycake with the rioters yet again tonight....Trump might have to send the Marines in there....

Liberal Washington DC politicians would never do that, no matter how necessary it is.

Trump runs the Military the communist democrat libtards have so say in the matter....

1) Trump doesn't run the national guard. The state governor does.

2) Title 10 Active Duty forces by law cannot engage in law enforcement activities.

I don't want to speak for Enfuego, but one reason I can see why some people would think we shouldn't rush to arrest him during the ongoing investigation is because the cop was working for the government and people in government deserve more protection that everyone else whenever they do something wrong.

Au contraire

With several hundred LEOs decked out like Army Special Forces vs a couple thousand unarmed civilians, I'm pretty confident the state is firmly in charge

Short of shooting to kill civilians engaged in property damage - as they were advised to this morning by the POTUS - they are keeping the range of public demonstrations remarkably contained

If it were not wholly illegal to deploy U.S. military against U.S. civilians on American soil, Tiny might very well make such an order from his bed. But thankfully, his fat ass is not particularly relevant to these events

This just isn't true at all.

If you arrest someone, you can only hold them for 24-48 hours without charging them. If you're going to arrest someone, you need to have the intention to charge them and if you overcharge them, they will walk.

But further to your point, what I do and what a cop does is different. A cop inherently has the duty to use force in the fulfillment of his/her duties. I don't but that sill doesn't mean you don't have to prove murder against a normal citizen.

Prosecuting attorneys don't give a shit what you or I think and what the public does. They have to do things the right way.

We are a Police force in Afghanistan so why not here?

Enfuego's post was correct but would be moreso if the words "on U.S. soil" were added

It is the same legal impediment to suggestions by some constitutionally ignorant folks that Tiny deploy U.S. military to interdict illegal border crossings
