99.9 percent of people will say that they would have treated this much different than "Joe Pa" did (myself included).

Fact of the matter is, the percentage of the people that would have done things differently is much smaller if they were actually put in the same situation.

Ive lived in this world long enough to know that many people in this world look out for #1 first and foremost. And they base most of their decisions on what the consequences will be for themselves, rather than doing the right thing.

Sad but true.

I agree. People are selfish. It's a cut throat world out there. People really do ultimately look out for number 1(themselves)

You guys are leaving out the fact that Sandusky and Paterno were best friends and had offices next to each other for years. Sandusky had to have felt comfortable molesting kids and not getting caught if he was so bold as to do it multiple times out in the open where people could see him.

Even if the guy was never proven to be guilty but there was so much credible evidence that he was asked to leave, you don't allow him back on campus to hold camps where he could possibly be in the position to affect more victims.
