It's just a bag, it never had dirty laundry in it, even if it did most groceries are boxed , canned, in bags whatever, produce gets washed, it's no big deal whatsoever, at least I'm not using plastic bags

You guys attack me for basically nothing on this one

Yeah Doug. It's odd.

Does the grocery even know they are empty when you walk in?? Seems like a thief would want to carry in duffel bags and claim " that was already in there"

Hell yes they know I'd never steal from them, This is small town Mayberry like stuff, I know the undercover loss prevention guy by name and talk to him all the time, he's a retired firefighter, 99%+ of shoppers would have no idea who he is

In the future I'll just bring in the one duffel bag full of reusuable bags and go with that.

Tim can track anybody on camera around the store, but often pretends to be a shopper, it's a low theft store, but you need a presence

A decent sized supermarket , a ShopRite, I know many employees by name from cart pushers to pharmacists and their assistants, to loss prevention, deli and seafood clerks, managers,
cashiers ,etc.

They would never question my integrity ! I haven't done anything illegal in years, borrowing a tiny amount of dumpster space is as close as it gets to me being criminal, and I guarantee you that goes unnoticed !

A certain level of security is needed even in the best of neighborhoods, this store has a secondary LP guy named Lou, I've never talked to him, but I know what he looks like, there might be more, but I think it is just these two men, I'm not casing the joint .... it's something I might like to get into if the pay was right enough

It seems like no special requirements needed, I'd consider it, I'm observant

I bring in my own bags, I use duffel bags. This cashier broad wearing latex gloves would not put my food in gym bags saying it was unsanitary, I told her I only use them for groceries, I got plastic !

nice idea with the duffel bags my start using them also :103631605

Doesn't seem like you are casing the place at all. You know the names, habits and how many of them there are. I'd be on high alert if I were Lou when you came rolling down the aisle with some cold cuts, gallons of milk and color coded garbage bags allowing you to use Best Buy's dumpster loaded up in your duffle bag.

Casing the place, Hell No ! I'm not a shoplifter. I am highly aware of what is going on around me, I'm very trustworthy, as evidenced by me being a proxy for a poster at an RX bash, playing a $1,000 BJ hand and sending the guy his money before even leaving Las Vegas. I could go into a convenience store I worked at years ago and haven't been to in several years and the manager might ask me to take the register for 5 minutes ,so she can use the restroom

I might cheat on my taxes by not reporting some income, but I don't shoplift

Alcohol is poison and it’s legally sold in this country along with tobacco. While cannabis still remains on schedule 1. Makes complete logical sense.
