30 friggin K wouldn't do it! I don't care how much money you took from me - I ain't going to prison over someone else's dumb, dead ass. You could sap my accounts dry! In US, thank God there's no such thing as a debtor's prison because I've been to jail (in Georgia, twice) and I am not going back.

Lick your wounds, learn from the mistakes you made that put you in this situation, and move on with your life. And protect your wife and kids if he's threatened them. Leave the cops out of this since you're betting online. Just stay away from him and don't put yourself in a situation where you're guilty of anything.
