What should the forum do with poster Vitterd

This is going to shock you, but when people come to the site and see people arguing like teenage girls who have no ability to put together a coherent semi-cogent thought or have civilized debate, they leave.

It is what it is, the internet is a big place. It isn't going to kill anyone if the RX has less traffic, but as a matter of policy I'd ban bad posters faster (or move appropriate posts to poli forum or RR more vigilantly)

What you have here now is not conducive to having a vibrant ecosystem of good posters.

The RX is a product. You need to cull the bad poster population like it is deer. Otherwise it gets too big and eventually runs the site.

That is basically what we have now.

When was the last time someone joined this site and became a decent regular poster? I mean it could've happened, I don't know, but it is obviously pretty rare. Who would come to this site and stay longer than 5 minutes?


That is why you need to continuously ban bad posters, otherwise the site eats itself. 2+2 does a good job of this.

how do you define bad poster?
As much as I get into it with people like Justin cruise I don't consider him a bad poster.
I think the only things that trully drive people away at a place like this are people who are blatant racist.

A bad poster is hard to define.

Some people think I'm a bad poster.
Some people think I'm a good poster.

I think that's the case with a lot of people who post here.

There aren't that many people at this place with no negitives like yourself.

Well we're just speaking of the RX as a product and what is the best way to grow/maintain that product.

There would be no hard and fast rule to decide who is a bad poster so some subjectivity is needed I guess. I'm not really sure, but if you just don't ban anyone or you just let every thread exist in the main forum then you basically have what you have now.

How many threads about black people are really needed in the main forum? Atleast make a race sub-forum.

You would think grown adults could police themselves, but I guess not.

With the internet, social media, the news and the constant negative reinforcement people get from everything going on, it is just an emotional time.

Has lied/make up stories since he signed up and pretends he has a flawless intregrity. Some people have forgotten all the lies and when he tried to start his "baseball hedge fund". Somehow when he went on a small hiatus all his threads and posts from 2012, or at least the most damning ones are gone, nowhere to be found. Somehow this fraud has managed to clean up his really tarnished posting history and some even call him a good poster now. I will never consider him good enough for this place... the brigde is burnt.

But since I dont think all that seriously about forums anymore I'll just tease him and expose him whenever it seems necessary so new posters are not mislead by his antics. He likes to pretend he has me on ignore and doesnt read my posts... yet he is able to see my "death threats". Guy can't stop lying.

And then he has the nerve to call out valuable loyalers like Chop, Harry, FZ and others.

I think we went through this already, but from what I have seen, None of his posts have been "Cleaned"

and so you know ... He never said Anything about You making Threats ... He was talking about someone else
