No contest, Pat. Success in Iraq and victory for their own country = long faces in the Howard Dean camp this November. You could almost hear the collective sigh from liberals across the country when it was announced Zarqawi finally went on to meet his 72 Helen Thomas like virgins in Islamofascist paradise.

Like this wasn't predictable...

Saying that those of us opposed to the war in Iraq are sad to see a notorious terrorist dead is an attack on our patriotism. You guys didn't invent this strategy of attacking the patriotism of anyone who is opposed to a war.

"But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship . . . voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country." This isn't an attack on anyone oppsed to the war. However there is an extremest element of the left that actually sees this as bad news for their political agenda..Thats a fact...Some are actually elected officials...I didn't say people opposed to the war.

Thats why I said moonbat, not war opposers.

This is an outright lie, and you can not even come close to proving it.

BB, I hardly see how a 2003 photo of Nancy Pelosi at a press confrence regarding NASA proves Pat's point.

If you can show me 'Democrats are depressed' about getting Zarqawi, I will STFU and apologize.

I can honestly say that I was happy, because it at least gives a tiny bit of vindication as to why we are over there. Although, I'm pretty sure it was'nt worth 2500 lives.

Afterall, it was'nt just your party who voted to go there. It's just that mine would like a sound exit strategy in a reasonable time frame.

Just six more cards left in the deck and then we get to start a new deck!!

The new deck of cards should focus on the anti-Americans here at home. Bernie Goldberg list of the 110 peoplewho are screwing up America would be a decent list to start with.

The new deck of cards should include:
Clinton Bill and Hilliary
Carter
Jesse Jackson
Kerry
Murtha
Pelosi
William Jefferson
Gore
Franken
Moore
James Carville
doc mercer
Humpty Dumpty
Edwards
Kennedy
Ward Churchill
ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, CBS news achors
and pretty much any other lib.

LOL!

Who gets to be the Queen of Hearts? And don't say Juice Newton, that is a cop out.

You know what is funny? The first post I ever made in the politics forum was a thread I started regarding a spin off of the original 'Deck of cards'.

I'm glad that you know the year and place the photo was taken.
However, it's quite clear that Nancy has been depressed and withdrawn since Zarqauie went on to his 72 Virginians.

Nancy is a typical San Franciscan - she thinks the military and everyone to the right of Ted Kennedy are evil.

You asked for proof, and I gave you Nancies picture. :103631605
