What kind of ratings will This years World series get ??

How can you compare attendance when the max capacity of baseball stadiums are almost twice of that of the nba?

And, if the NBA thought they could sell out 40,000 seat arenas (which they couldn't), they would build 40,000 seat arenas.

I will bet the mortgage this WS will have the lowest ratings of any series. No one outside of hard-core fans knows one Royal or one Giant. Maybe Buster Posey, but Buster Posey could walk into any mall outside of SF and no one would know him. Good for the Royals and Giants, but no one outside of KC and SF gives a hoot.

this will be the 4th consecutive season the nba finals will beat the mlb world series. MLB is the 3rd sport in America, as the NBA passed it 2-3 season ago.

As explained by the fact that more people go to baseball games and MLB teams has higher revenues than NBA teams

Why should anyone except the network broadcasting the Series and the advertisers give a darn what the ratings are? Just because the
g--damn Yankees aren't in it (thankfully) doesn't mean it won't be a good series.

i would assume the ratings will be low but i for one will be watching.it will be nice to see the royals back playing in the world series.change is good,people have to get it out of their head that the popular teams are always going to make it to the series,baseball is getting very compeitive anymore and even teams that appear loaded are not locks to make it to the world series,teams that play with heart can over come those teams and its been showing that.
