Who is the most publicly known player in the world series?

Matt Harvey? I don't even know.

Baseball players got it pretty nice, 9 figure contracts and don't even gotta worry about getting noticed in public anymore.

Hell, the best part is they get paid regardless if they play or not. NFL players dream of that.

2013 was his Money Year... striking out 191 batters in 178 innings

IMHO I think he is well worth $7mil a year... but with his Agent, He will be looking for at least $10Mil
Well, if he was looking for 10mio/year in arbitration, he better puts up at least the numbers of this year and should hope that Greinke & Price both break the bank during upcoming free agency. popcorn-eatinggif

Ratings-wise, the WS is anti-climatic compared to the rest of the playoffs. It seems like the only markets who care are the two teams only, that's a shame.

Ratings were better than expected. I guess the New York City numbers really helped nationally because of the huge amount of people who watched the game in the metropolitan area.

Going into early this morning, Game 1 drew a 10.5/18 in metered market results from 8 PM-1 AM. That's a 31% surge from the Game 1 low of last year's 8.0/13 MM rating on October 21, 2014, when the Royals lost 7-1 to the eventual champion San Francisco Giants. Last night's MM result was the best a World Series Game 1 has done since the 13.8/22 of 2009's Phillies-Yankees matchup.
