What is your resting heart rate?

I read somewhere that Walter Payton had a resting heart rate in the high 20's at one time.


Personally mine is in the mid to high 60's but that is decieving becaue I am on beta blockers for blood pressure.

Usually in the mid-40s.

Used to sell my plasma when I was in college. In order to donate, your rate needs to be within certain limits. Before the test, I'd go to the bathroom and jog in place for 20-30 seconds.

I would like to see that ...i have never heard anyone like that, amazing...I think Lance Armstrong is in mid 30's

Can you imagine your heat beating 25 times a minute? I freak out if mine starts slowing down at night.

I think anywhere between 50-70 is fine really....and isn't going to necessarily mean much in general...70 is very normal

If you want to drop you heart rate give up caffeine. I quite drinking caffeine and that is about the only thing I changed and 2 months later my heart rate went from 70 to 50.

yes jman is right...I just went about 2 weeks ago for a full check up and blood work ( which I recommend everyone do at least every 3 years) DR said mine was 56 frm 50-70 is great lower the better
