What is the BIGGEST personal injury settlement/award you have ever received?

Some people really need to take themselves out for clarity. This relieves not only themselves and the few that care for them but more importantly us posters. Unless you are bipolar or schizophrenic I am not apologizing either.

about 20 years ago got ran over by a dune buggy at the beach in corpus christi...got trapped underneath and the guy kept trying to drive over me to get off me back and forth...shock absorber bolt was in my thigh...just digging deeper and deeper and cuttong longer from butt to knee...when i finally got out er that thing and stood up all my muscle and fat cells fell out the back...people around me startedgetting sick....i must of been in shock didn't feel anything....it took over 200 stitches to put everything back together...the guy told me he had insurance and all..i was out of work for 3 weeks...and all i wanted him to do was pay my medical bills...well i start getting the medical bills and he says he don't want to turn them in it will make his insurance go up...F him...i waited for about 2 months and went to talk to attorney...You should have seen his eyes light up...the topper the guy that ran over me was drunk....this attorney was going to go balls to the wall...1 million for this 1 million for that...not going to cost me anything ....this guy was like a kid in a candy store...he called the guy that ran over me and said all i wanted was to have medical bills paid...he had better jump before i owned him...now the guy had to pay med.bills lawyer fees and we tacked on the 3 weeks worth of pay....but the lawyer told me we could have gotten probably a mill...just not my style....just do the right thing...thanks jeffksu

yes,,,,three weeks and back to work for pepsi-cola at that time ...the first week was pure hell i couldn't stand up as the blood would go there and cause so much pain i couldn't stand it...bounced around the house on my butt....second and third week though a bit of help with crutches and then good to go...back to throwing cases....thanks jeffksu
