Great regular season QB.
Would probably be a great Offensive Coordinator.
Has a younger brother who is also a QB, but unfortunately has Downs Syndrome.

Who is the greatest pre-season (training camp) QB of all time? Who the hell cares?

Come on boys. There is no such thing as best regular season QB....... or best ever if SB didn't count. Lame, lame shit there Boys.

Bottom line. .....Very good QB. HS does not matter... whoever brought that up. Couldn't beat Gators when a Vol.

As for post season...... Huge disappointment and blemish on his career. He should do a long run of commercials for American Cotton Growers. Because of his huge string of dry-mouth choke jobs in play-offs.

Didn't get in trouble (that we know of) ..... A great accomplishment in his era.

Best of the good Qb's.Farves, Marinos etc. 1st ballot hall of famer. Played in air controlled domes stadium 80% of his career in a division with Houston, Jacksonville, Tennesse, whos resume includes 1 Super Bowl and handful of playoff games between them in their history.

In a nutshell,was underachiever as a playoff QB .

The notion that he had a poor team around him is lunacy. Going 14-2 several times then going one and done and spitting the bit when your team needs you the most is what makes him a good QB not a great one.
6 TD's against Jacksonville in October at home dosen't make for great QBs.. Driving your team for two TD's in the 4th quarter down by ten in a Super Bowl against the best defense in at least 15 years is greatness.
Please try to understand the distinction.

Ain't nair a person can say Peyton's Legacy doesn't get largely defined by this next game....he simply has to get past Brady in this spot, HAS TO.

Even then the Asterisk (Head to Head vs. Brady and Playoff failures) ain't totally erased but he gets past Tom Terrific this next game and his Legacy is changed then utterly changed if he then goes on to win Super Bowl so.....we fixin' to see...."What will be Peyton Manning's Legacy?"

He can't get past Tom in this spot and his legacy stays shrouded by vs. Brady/Post Season failures much like Marino's Legacy shrouded by that lack of a SB Win.

a great regular season qb..

very, very average post season qb

if i had one timeout, and 70 yards to go late in a game, i could think of a hell of a list before i mentioned manning

i disagree, the manning legacy was written when he was healthy and had an unreal offense around him and time after time he failed

this dude is beat to shit now

Exactly my point....large part of it anyway...He takes the Crown under these circumstances? And at this the Sunset of his already Legendary career? His legacy is utterly changed. Failures v. Brady and Postseason...get spoken of so little where by comparison if he goes down yet again to Tom? And suffers yet another PostSeason failure? I dig where you're coming from but to me this next game is HUGE where regards his legacy then if he gets past this and to Santa Clara? He gets a chance to remove all doubt (within the minds of many) that he was the GOAT.

NFL conducting comprehensive investigation of Manning

DENVER (AP) - The NFL says it is conducting a comprehensive review of allegations that Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had human growth hormone delivered to his house.
There's no timetable to complete the investigation, but it's not expected before the Denver plays Carolina in the Super Bowl on Feb. 7.
