Funny, now that's something I can agree with. I have first hand experience with. I caught Covid AFTER getting the booster. So did my wife
My symptoms were the sniffles, my wife was asymptomatic, but we both tested positive shortly after receiving the booster. We think maybe the booster gave it to us, many other people seemingly tell the same story.
Anyhow, I have always argued deaths are the most important variable. I'm not going to change now

In order to avoid the pitfalls of absolute numbers, it is useful to instead look at incidence rates—usually expressed as the number of deaths per 100,000 people. Standardizing the denominator across all groups offers a very different picture.

I think we've put most of this behind us by now. I think we learned masks are not the solution, I think we learned we cannot lock down the economy, I think we learned the vaccines worked, I think we learned the virus is dangerous but there still was a great deal of hyperbole about it, and I think we learned there should be a more rational approach to pandemics going forward. But hey, they had an election to steal and they weren't winning any other way.
