I usually carry around $200 in cash for when or if I might need it.

I use my credit card for 95% of my purchases. My card kicks back 1.5 percent of
total each month. It adds up over the course of a year. I ALWAYS pay my card bill
in full each month. I never have or ever will pay interest on a damn credit card.
I got 2% coming back, adds up fast!

Lotto tickets. I buy a $2 mega millions every time I fill up my tank.
Tips. I tip the grocery delivery guy in cash.
Valet.
Sometimes pay the dogsitter in cash instead of booking through Rover so she gets to keep more.

That's about it. Usually have less than $20 on me at any given point in time.

People who own businesses that collect a lot of cash, seemingly tend to pay with cash more often

I have absolutely no idea why that might be

Parking at sporting events. Don't think it's been mentioned yet.

And of course at the casino. Probably makes up 98% of my cash transactions.

It is constitutional law that we have a mint to print money. The sheep that over use debit and credit cards are handing over their right to privacy and fucking it up for people like me.

Ever since Costco stopped taking Amex I pay cash there. Bought 4 prime ny strips this am for under 100 bucks and I would take the Pepsi challenge with these over pat lafriedas. A fraction of the cost and taste great. Cash is king nothing like a lazy ass checker having to think
