Well where do you want to start ?

112-32 regular season record.

Made the playoffs 9 of 10 years.

Made it to the AFC championship game 5 times.

Made it to 3 Super Bowls winning 2.

..Only the Steelers have more Super Bowl wins in that time frame , but they dont match the other stats or the consistency of making the playoffs.

Is there somebody else that has accomplished more in the last 10 years ?

Made it to 3 Super Bowls winning 2.

how is this possible if they lost 2 SB to the Giants off the top of my head. Current Coach QB combo making it to 5 in their over 10 year history is very impressive. Once in the playoffs it's quite the crap shoot IMO.

You you could easily replace Patriots with Peyton Manning etc...

Must be one of those days where my math is fuzzy , i thought the super bowl against Carolina was 11 years back .... good point about the soft division.

After further review , my math was right. 1-2 in super bowls the last 10 seasons. The 04 game was 11 super bowls ago.

2 Super Bowls ago was 2012 Sb. We can all agree
4 = 2010
6 = 2008
8 = 2006
9 = 2005 Pats winner
10= 2004 Pats winner

going back 9 SB s. Pats are 1-2
Past ten SBs they are 2-2. Am I missing something??

They've accomplished more in the last 10 years then most teams in this league will in the next 50. Hopefully that was the point you were trying to make.

I look at a team that cheated, got caught cheating against the Jets, who at the time really stunk, but still Belicheat felt compelled to cheat. Since they were caught, not coincidentally, they've won ZERO Super Bowls-and had, arguably two of the greatest chokes in sports history.

I don't get the Patriot haters. Do you really think they cheat any more than any of the others? Now I can understand being a Cowboy hater. What have they done in the last 20 years?

Not a Patriot hater...life long Patriot and Viking(sad but true) fan. I screwed up when I made the thread....I should've said what have the Patriots accomplished in the last 8 years. For as much hype as Brady and Bellicheck get, they haven't won a Super Bowl in 9 years. A lot of regular season wins, sure....but who remembers regular season wins. Bellicheck gets way to much credited for being some master-mind imo....the guy won 3 Super Bowls by a total of 9 points.

To answer your question, yeah, I DO think they cheat more than others, even something as simple as the midweek injury reports, where they have historically had, by far, more players on the "out" and "doubtful" list to actually play than any other team-not to mention, even if they they WEREN'T the biggest cheaters, the argument that "My team/player/candidate is the one that actually got caught cheating, but EVERYBODY cheats" is one of the dumbest in all of sports or politics, IMO. They got caught, what are we supposed to do, NOT punish them until everybody else is caught and/or gets punished, too???

Exactly, and, who knows, maybe they had plays from their opponents in those 3 wins by a field goal, the Eagles, in particular, said it was strange how they, the Eagles, blitzed 5 times all out in their loss, and the Pats threw screens on 4 of those plays. Was it simply uncanny play calling? I don't think so.
