Pats because you have to factor the salary cap into it. The NBA has a luxury tax. Two other teams have done what Houston has done. Now if they did the whole thing without Ming...I would revisit this.

The Pats went the ENTIRE season undefeated - I guess you can view this as close if you factor in the fact that the Rockets are not one of the best 5 teams in the league and under no circumstances will they win a ring and are 50/50 to lose first round - in fact, the could easily be dogs in Round 1.

When Yao was there for the 1st 12 games of the streak they won by an average margin 10 points...Last 9 games they won by an average of 16 points

I'd have to go with the Rockets because what they are doing with an average team is very impressive. It would have been a NE lock had they not choked away the Superbowl in what should have been a layup.

rockets by far. football games are a week apart. nba is more of grind with all the travel much more parity and power teams in the nba vs nfl. the rockets by far have much less talent, whereas the pats had the most. also, the rockets dont cheat. pats cant win the superbowl unless they are cheating and videotaping others.
