my mom got me watching it back in the mid 1970's, around 1975 i think.. i saw Bo and Hope and several others grow up..... you should check it out now, marlena was thought to be a killer and there is an alternate Salem on a remote island,,, can you say Stefano.........
Only Ted Turner can save my braves now.. AOL doenst care about producing a winner, they are going to cut down another 10 million per season next year.. funny thing is that,, if Giles, Furcal, Drew, Estrada, Jones and Jones, could play together (all healthy), they can still make a run this year..

I was aware of the Marlena 'situation'...I was wondering HOW they were going to bring her back in good standing...I have watched at times and knew she was on the ropes as a good character...my favorite time period was about 94-96 when Peter and Stefano were causing some serious havoc on Salem! SSI- I did not know alot of that...man you really are a Days fan from way back...I think the second Billy was amazing, I`m sure you remember her? It turned out she had some interesting movies in her past, in case you didn`t know she did some soft porn (you might say) it aired on Showtime a couple years ago...I liked Carrie too...Nicole came along as I was nearing the end of my watching, she is a hottie though...

Actually you are exactly right about the "Journeyman Jeopardy" contest! Freddy sponsored that particular contest for $100 and insisted that I accept the prize as a parlay wager.
I was fortunate enough to make my wager a two-team underdog baseball parlay (Detroit and Baltimore, as I recall). Nailed it for a $600 + payoff and collected 2 or 3 dimes as a result over the course of time.
Those, indeed, were the days! Maybe there could be a return of "Journeyman Jeopardy" sometime in the future. We would want to insure, of course, that the "reigning champion" was afforded the opportunity to return each time to defend his crown.
