Mischief Night In suburbs of Philadelphia 70's and 80's. As kids, we spent most of our free time outside.. unlike today's generation. Doing something was a rite of passage between ages 15-16. Most kids would do nothing more than "soap" a cars windows. That means write on the windows with a bar of soap. It wasn't unusual to see victim cars driving down the main Blvd in town around 8 or 9 at night with messages soaped onto the windows - going to the grocery store or whatever. I remember my mother saying things like.. "Ooooo - somebody got them". I am pretty sure i soaped a window ... but i can't really remember.
