Usually people post things they believe. But I understand posting something you just think is interesting. But if you have no opinion just say so. That is all I can accept if you just found it interesting and was interested to see what people had to say. My points would have stood but I wouldn't have addressed it as your opinion

I'm not going to post something like the following after every news thread i create:

Posting an article is not posting an opinion about that article. Surely you can see the difference.

If you want to disagree with anything an article says, feel free. But don't ass-ume it has - anything - to do with what i think or opine or believe.

When i have an opinion on anything - I & I alone - will state it. Kapish?

To me that is just common sense.

I've also previously stated why i post articles. Maybe it should be a sticky here ;

Not really. Like I said you post so much(I got no problem with that)and basically all the topics are similar in opinion. Not a stretch to assume you agree with what you post. If you can post as much as you do an extra two seconds to say no opinion is no big deal. But you do what you want. Have a nice day

Many articles i post provide a balance to what others have been saying. I think that's a good thing, rather than having the forum relatively overwhelmed with one side only.

If anyone wants to know if i agree with any article or particular statement in one, they are free to ask. I've expressed my own opinions on topics in many threads.

The odds are extremely high that i - don't - agree with 100% of the opinions expressed in news stories i've been posting. Even those that tend to align in agreement with one another.

The same would probably apply to - anyone - who has posted as many articles as i have.

I didn't take it that way since you said in post #8 "If you actually believe....". So my "ass-ume" remark was not directed towards you.

I suppose almost everyone makes false assumptions in their life, if they live long enough. I know IME i've often assumed things that were not true. And probably will again multiple times.

South Korea had the highest infections outside of China early on and their first death from Coronavirus the same day as the US. Yet they only have 10,694 cases and 238 deaths as opposed to 831,086 cases and 46,249 deaths in the US due to strong leadership and quick action.

And without closing their borders.

China just shutdown gyms in Beijing again, I wouldn't believe anything they said that is on the optimistic side.
