I can't remember Tressel ever running up the score but the rest of the list is right on.

Urban Meyer last year against Miami was unreal.

Urban Meyer #1-10 on the list.

Jim Tressel, are you kidding me. Tressel would win every game 2-0 nothing if it were possible.

Going against OSU in large spread games has been a gold mine under Tressel. He trys to run out the clock and thinks that win by 10-14 is just fine.

I really hate to see threads like this , dont get me wrong , i'm all for freedom of speach and that's what forums are for , BUT it's threads like this that make the pro sports leagues paranoid about gambling and we see what they did to the state of Delaware because of their paranoia. :>(

I agree with you and also agree with the poster saying he isn't going run up the score vs. Navy.
Tressel's father was a Navy Officer and that will have alot of something to do with that.

I wouldn't put it past either Tressel or Carroll to run up the scores in these first games despite playing each other the next week. There is a fine line between saving your team for next week and sending a message to them by routing your opponent. As for Navy, I'm not sure I trust them here to cover. Just a hunch, but I think the farther removed they get from Paul Johnson the worse they are going to get.

Beamer puts practice squad in by the 3rd quarter if they're up by two touchdowns at home.

The only statistical FACT that we have is Urban Meyer. His record is ridiculous in nonconference games. Look it up. As far as June Jones, he does not run up the score. I can vouch for it, cuz I'm a Hawaii fan & he always would put second string in and keep the score from running up, especially if he knew the coach.
