Mama told me when I was young
Come sit beside me, my only son
And listen closely to what I say.
And if you do this
It'll help you some sunny day.
Oh, take your time... Don't live too fast,
Troubles will come and they will pass.
Go find a woman, oh baby, you'll find love,
And don't forget son,
There is someone up above.

(Chorus)
And be a simple kind of man.
Be something you love and understand.
Baby be a simple, kind of man.
Oh, won't you do this for me son,
If you can?

Forget your lust for the rich man's gold
All that you need, is in your soul,
And you can do this, oh baby, if you try.
All that I want for you my son,
Is to be satisfied.

(Chorus)

Boy, don't you worry... you'll find yourself.
Follow your heart, lord, and nothing else.
And you can do this, oh baby, if you try.
All that I want for you my son,
Is to be satisfied.

Steak,

Skynyrd wrote some great lyrics thats for sure, although SimpleMan is my first choice and holds much more meaning to me, I would easily accept Free Bird or any other Skynryd for that matter as back up material.

Train roll on, on down the line,
Won't you please take me far away?
Now I feel the wind blow outside my door,
Means I'm leaving my woman behind.
Tuesday's gone with the wind.
My baby's gone with the wind.

And I don't know where I'm going.
I just want to be left alone.
Well, when this train ends I'll try again,
But I'm leaving my woman at home.

(chorus)
Tuesday's gone with the wind.
Tuesday's gone with the wind.
Tuesday's gone with the wind.
My woman's gone with the wind.

Train roll on many miles from my home,
See, I'm riding my blues away.
Tuesday, you see, she had to be free
But somehow I've got to carry on.

(chorus)

tuesdays gone with the wind.........love it

My funeral's going to be a fucking party because that's what I'd want to do if I was there.

Then I want my friend (if she's still alive) to do stand-up comedy about my life to cheer everyone up.

I'd have Gabriel, Hackett, Collins, Banks & Rutherford reunited.

But I'd like Elton John's "Funeral for a Friend" to be played. I would also like blackjack and poker tables to be set around for all to play.

Oh and have this emoticon above my casket :tongue2:
