i sorry, but that wasnt rwb not having help, that was him not wanting it

horrible shot selection

I'm sure he was exhausted from dropping 2 games worth of stats in the first 3 quarters.

They could do more with him especially some mid-range high post/coming off screens rather than just the Mike Brown "Yo LeBron heres the ball 30 feet from the basket, make something happen" but other guys gotta step up. In particular if Dipo can't even be a decent 2nd scorer for 2-3 mins a half they're pretty screwed.

But I think he just had no legs. The difference between having an efficient game with 25 shots and 42 is massive. There is a reason even the best players don't take that many shots.

Wow, just wow.

Russell Westbrook on being down 2-0: "It sucks, but at least I've stayed in OKC and didn't run to a 73 win team like somebody else did."

McBuckets hit from outside earl then never got up again. No doubt RWB was gassed, but damn that shot selection and the number taken just absurd. 18 shots in 12 minutes? I really think that fourth is why Durant left. Total selfish play.

Seemed like lineups of Westbrook Adams and Taj had good success. Yet jeremi grant played 26 minutes and taj only 20. Grant with a nice -20 +\- as he offers nothing and couldent even contribute on the 76ers.

I'm not one to defend Westbrook but the other options on the floor to shoot a jumper are jeremi grant Andre Roberson and oladipo. Can anyone even explain why samaja Cristian or whatever his name is is even playing a single second? A team with no depth is going 12 deep in he playoffs. Laughable

Wasnt Oladipo like a top 5 pick? He s terrible. I though Gibson and McBuckets gave them some good minutes early then never played again.

Yeah, Dipo needed to atleast be on Gordon/L Williams level offensively in this series. When Harden leaves the court the Rockets don't go to shit because of those guys. That's another reason OKC never really got over the hump with KD/Russ, they would never make the simplest moves to improve their bench. Rockets got L Will for like the 26th pick, they could've offered their 21st. Just didn't care to do so.

Obviously not a main reason for their failures but they've never gone that extra mile with acquisitions.

Lou Will reminds me of Vinnie Johnson, the guy just comes in cold and lights it up immediately. Gordon was such a great signing, really holds it down when the beard breaks and when he and lwill out there, just gives the such spacing on the floor. Morey deserves a lot of credit for letting dwight walk ( who has been a no show) and signing these two. Not sure why Presti didnt think to get some perimeter shooting for rwb.

Fwiw don't think that series is over just yet. OKC got a great crowd and few of those roleplayers may play a little better at home. Don't see Russ getting swept, think he gets atleast a game. And the way Houston shoots (hot and cold) maybe a little more. It isn't like Hawks/Wiz where it's just a total mismatch.

One rule I have with NBA playoffs is I do not bet a team game 3 on the road up 2-0 after the 2 home wins, it is almost impossible to match intensity of the team playing back at home. Either the team that is at home or a no play.

If you trusted your teammates you wouldn`t take 43 shots

Tough call, of course Westbrook has the green light to do whatever he wants. He was just exhausted in the 4th qt . They had their best defensive and best rebounder in the game . WB needs to figure out how to use his own teamates.

spoken by Mike Tyson of all people

Roberson in is a total no brainer, he is by far their best perimeter defender.

Donovan coaching a great game, lot of good adjustments.

if L Williams wasn't flame throwing with no conscience they would be up 20.

I think this lineup they got in right now is probably the right lineup to close. Maybe Adams, but he just doesn't have a great role in this series.
