A dead pool, also known as a death pool, is guessing / wagering on when someone (usually celebrities) will die.

No friendly poker for me, I like to play games like Pitch, Pinochle, Eucher, Hearts, Spades, Tonk, Cribbage, Casino and even (usually in mixed company) Uno.

I am actually a decent Hearts player with a penchant for trying to run Hearts to much however. Pitch (High/Low/Jack/and the Game) is another favorite.

Other than that, I will bet on anything I think is +EV or I have an edge on.

Cribbage was the first thing I ever bet on, penny a point with my pops when I was about 7 or 8 years old.
