This one is always overlooked...probably cuz Field of Dreams dealt with the whole Shoeless Joe Scandal

FOD only touched on the Black Sox scandal for a couple minutes to explain the reasoning why Jackson was the first to appear.

Eight Men Out very solid stuff

The Natural, FOD, Bull Durham and Major League pretty much sum it up

Oh and "Safe at Home", starring Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris.....LOL

Or, Fear Strikes Out.....Double LOL

Most far fetched plot for a baseball movie.

200px-It_Happens_Every_Spring_VHS.jpg

A college professor is working on a long term experiment when a baseball comes through the window destroying all of his glassware. The resultant fluid causes the baseball to be repelled by wood. Suddenly, he realizes the possibilities and takes a leave of absence to go to St. Louis to pitch in the big leagues where he becomes a star and propels his team to the World Series. It stars Ray Milland as the professor. The professor greases up the ball with his formula then the ball cannot touch wood. Everyone he faces strikes out.

Funny if you are around 6 years old.

For me, it's:

1. The Natural
2. Bull Durham
3. Major League

I'm with you, I rate Bull Durham a slight edge over Major League, my wife, BillsGirl, rates Major League higher.
