A comic kicked off the rally by dismissing Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage,” then mocked Hispanics as failing to use birth control, Jews as cheap and Palestinians as rock-throwers, and called out a Black man in the audience with a reference to watermelon.
Meghan McCain( republican) on Sunday said that Donald Trump's controversial rally at Madison Square Garden could "backfire" against him. Meghan McCain, the political commentator and daughter of legendary Republican lawmaker John McCain, supports Trump in the election but is worried that the rhetoric at the rally could hurt him nine days from Election Day.
"I actually think this rally could backfire. How is this winning over moderates and independents exactly?" she asked. "This is maga on steroids."
She then added, "It’s a pretty significant and inconvenient demographic you actually need to win - and they don’t freebase maga kool aid every morning."
Attorney jeffery gold said In response :
"You actually think Americans won't respond positively to a Nazi rally? It's always been about the racism."
"It's never been about any policy other than racism. Trump's campaign is over. This the swan song. Done. Fini," he added.
