Just curious as to why the Stanford line is only -3. Seems too good to be true. Do you have any insight into this one? Like your picks BTW.

I think it has something to do with the rivalry between the most recent top 2 teams in the Pac north.
Both the Ducks and Trees have a big bulls eye painted on each others back. They trade off wins and
spoil each others run at the playoffs etc. Then you put the game in Eugene and people think that fire
is in the works. I ain't buying it. The Ducks are in an inept rebuilding mode and their coaching has
been off -- way off.

Why is Utah line down to -4. Quarterback?

Nope, he's good to go in this game. I think the touts might be charging people
out the kazoo and the Devils are being sided due to their home ATS record. But
I think that if they are due to lose one, Utah will oblige them. Just as a general
rule, Wittingham is a superior head coach vs Todd Graham. He will definitely
have Utah ready for this one on national TV. They come into this game with a
well played 1 TD loss to the Dawgs last week. I saw that coming.

It's often a good idea to fade the steam in these Thursday TV games. Vegas
doesn't get rich on winners. Wish I had waited.

OK just one more that almost escaped me.
Probably the best bet on the board.

Games like this one tend to be played with
a lot of deliberation. Both teams have the
defense that can perform.

WY -7/UNLV

Nice call on Utah. They looked solid aside from the 2 early fumbles. Pass rush broke asu down. Offense clicking in every phase. Utes are a real good team. And Asu is awful.

Some big games left in Nov to get to PAC 12 championship. Going to be fun.

Who could UCLA and the 2 az schools get to turn programs around? The coaches from those 3 schools have all worn out their welcome. Programs have regressed YoY. No excuses for these teams to be so bad. If I were UCLA I'd take the long shot and reach out to Chip. NFL isn't for him.

My fellow longtime poster here, a guy that goes by rolltide suggested that Lane Kiffin
may go to UCLA if the offer is made. No love lost between Kiff and USC thanks to Pat
(the wuss) Haden, USC's former AD who fired Lane Kiffin when he was getting off the
plane at the airport. It would be a just reward for USC for giving Kiffin an indelible
memory to live with. If it happens, it will only be a matter of time before the Bruins
become a crosstown nightmare to the Trojans.

I thought it would matter in the first half but it ended up in a good way

Kiffin is not cut out to be a HC at a big program. Maybe he learned something under Saban but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Conan, I was wondering if you think the people in charge of the conferences like Pac 12 influence the games. Reason why I ask is because Huskies are looking good to be one of the teams to be in the playoff if they remain undefeated. There are a lot of money for the conferences that makes the playoff. If the Huskies lose any game till the end of the season then Pac 10 will be out of the playoff. Wondering if you think they will influence the Huskies to win the rest of the way. Just curious to see what you think on this subject.

I doubt it.
Peterson needs nobody's help to make winners out of UW.

Such "influence" or rigging is a Clinton thing.

Oh shit, just about choked on my beer. That's just too good my West Coast Friend. GL with today's action, think I'll follow ya on some of the Pac games (hell, I guess it's still Pac 12, kinda like the Big 12 having 10 teams remains the Big 12).
