Ducks found this line move and I'm all over it too.
I didn't think it would move off of 7.
It may not last long either.
Good catch UoD.

Adding:
ND-6.5/Stanford*

Recap:
UCLA-16.5/WSU** (best bet)
ASU+9.5/CAL*
OR+16.5/USC*
AZ-19/UW**
(best bet)
Boise St. 2H-9.5
(W)

I've seen ND and Stanford play every game this season - and I'm impressed with Kimble. That being said, Notre Dame is going to be an extremely tough team to play against at home this year and I don't think Pritchard's got enough weapons on the outside to stop ND from loading up on the run.

Clausen's getting better every week but from someone that had ND as a big play last week, I'll say that it was very keen of them to establish the run - give Allen and co. some confidence going forward after MSU shut them down. Stanford's a different team on the road and even Fauch showed that the secondary can be picked apart - and ND has 2 legitimate playmakers on the outside. For me it's ND or no play, or ML parlay ND with a couple of solid home mid-sized favs to drive down the ML (has been a hit or miss strategy this year with some big favs going down, I expect it to normalize somewhat going forward).

BOL I always look for your plays.

Dsethi, that was a good post. I've looked into this game more closely since I first posted a lean on Stanford. Now I'm thinking that both team's rushing game will be a wash. No big difference. But they will be be enough to help both teams open up their passing games. So it will boil down to Pritchard vs. Clausen throwing the ball and I do not see Pritchard being able to keep up.

Since the line moved a good point on Stanford, I'm taking Notre Dame and getting the hook.

Just a thought about Oregon St.

What is with these bonehead mistakes?

The Beavers are turning out to be a very good team, a lot of talent and excellent speed, brilliant play calling (usually) and very well conceived game plans, but they keep shooting themselves in the foot in the strangest and most unexpected ways.

They could easily be 4-1 instead of 2-3.

(and their special teams suck)

Get this... the 2 worst offenses in the conference have to put up 56 points for this bet to lose. WSU probably won't score 10. UCLA will likely continue running the ball successfully and score in the 30's because WSU has the worst defense in the Pac-10, especially vs the run. That will also eat up clock.

Adding:
UCLA/WSU U 55.5*

Recap:
UCLA-16.5/WSU** (best bet)
ASU+9.5/CAL*
OR+16.5/USC*
AZ-19/UW**
(best bet)
Boise St. 2H-9.5
(W)
ND-6.5/Stanford*

As if WSU didn't already have it bad enough....

Injuries mount for WSU

By HOWIE STALWICK
SPECIAL TO THE P-I

PULLMAN -- Paul Wulff, who has publicly questioned the grit of some Washington State players this fall, has been quite complimentary of the Cougars' effort in practice this week. The coach only wishes he had more healthy players to compliment.

Wulff said Thursday that as many as four more potential starters could be sidelined Saturday when the Cougars visit UCLA.

Listed as questionable by Wulff are running back Chris Ivory (hamstring), wide receiver Daniel Blackledge (shoulder), offensive tackle/guard Steven Ayers (shoulder) and outside linebacker Cory Evans (hamstring). Ivory and Evans are "very questionable."

Wulff said leading rusher Dwight Tardy, who was replaced as a starter by Ivory last week, should play despite tweaking an ankle in practice. True freshman Jared Karstetter would start for Blackledge, and true freshman Louis Bland is set to start in Evans' place for the second straight week.

Last season, Tardy set career highs with 37 carries and 214 rushing yards in a 27-7 win over UCLA. However, he suffered a season-ending knee injury on his final run, a 51-yard touchdown.

INCREDIBLE!

Bah. These bottom feeders catch a bug up their asses and end up getting nowhere in vain but also get anyone who fades them zip. So much for mid-week halftime monopoly (Bodog) money. EZ come EZ go.

Now for something interesting.... check this out, especially the big mouth part:

Knee injury, big mouth hurt Stanford

Posted by ESPN.com's Ted Miller

Stanford may be without its best receiver, Richard Sherman, for the rest of the year, but right tackle Chris Marinelli stole the headlines ahead of the Cardinal's visit to Notre Dame by vividly professing his hate for all things Fighting Irish. Sherman, a junior, had knee surgery Thursday and will be out at least four to six weeks.

Marinelli will play and may want to watch his back. He talked trash about Notre Dame, forcing the school to issue a statement of apology:

"I would like to apologize to the University of Notre Dame and anybody else who I may have offended from the remarks I made in an interview earlier this week," the statement said. "I was caught up in the emotions of the game and should have been more thoughtful in my comments. The remarks were out of character for me and certainly aren't reflective of my teammates or anybody else affiliated with the Stanford program. I look forward to a competitive game on Saturday in one of the great environments in college football."

On the positive side, leading rusher Toby Gerhart has been cleared to play after missing much of the Washington game with a concussion.

Why monopoly money(Bodog)? My nephew received a 2-month old payout($3200) this week.

Greetings Conan, West Coast Crew

Like the plays although I differ with you on the ASU/CAL game. Berkeley has been house of horrors for Devils of late. Devils have trip to USC next week, and while I can't think of a reason a team would overlook the Cal, ASU may. The one thing CAL does is run the ball, no matter who they place at RB. I see the line at 8' this morning which is where I am playing CAL.

I have CAL in this one.

Not too bad considering that I was one missed (short) FG from going 75% for the week. ASU's kicker missed 2 FGs over the past 2 years. This 35 yard chip shot was the 2nd one. F*ck me! Still hit my 2 top plays for the "football money."
