So on my block a railroad line runs behind our neighborhood. On the other side of the wall, 1 house over, I just learned a homeless person put up a tent behind my neighbor. My neighbor has fruit trees that hang over the wall. My neighbor threatened him once this week to get his shit and leave. He hasn't yet.

My neighbor and I are planning some sinister shit. Don't worry we won't harm him physically. But we will make it miserable enough for him to pack his shit and move the fuck on.

Who cares? Because it starts with 1 tent. Then 2, an then encampment. Fuck that build that shit somehere else. As far as a vet or a guy down on his luck, I've given up trying to decipher. One of my best friends is an LA County Fire fighter. For all the bums he picks up from issues in his 20 years in service he's confirmed to me 1 thing, people down on their luck make up a SLIVER of all the homeless. 98% of the homeless (In his experience) are all nutjobs or drug addicts. Plain and simple. The homeless problem reaching the suburbs here in my neighborhood. This shit wasn't here 20 years ago. Nutjobs aren't my problems and further more a drug addict is a fucking choice. (spare me with the disease bullshit). I see the homeless guys at a major intersection and they've been there for over a year panhandling. They work in shifts. You know why? Becuase it s a lucrative business for them. I've seen a bum pull out a fucking roll of cash from his pants while I was waiting at the light once. The bum probably clears $100 within an hour with every 15th driver handing him a $20 spot. Fuck all that.

I just want the bum away from my house. Go the fuck somewhere else.

exactly. LA is just too big of a county for the police to care about homeless issues. They're too busy with heavy shit. Besides what's this homeless guy gonna do, press charges? It’s easy to have an opinion about controversial issues whether a liberal or conservative but completely different when it impacts you personally.

Not knowing the mental state of the individual should lead to taking a cautious approach. You turn on a water sprinkler or something “harmless” and the guy could harm you, family or property.

Call the cops, they should at least tell you your options or whether they can get him to move.
