I apologize to the poly forum vets, evidently Vitterd's claims have been questioned before I landed here. I didn't realize there was an 8 page thread from 2 1/2 years ago.
I went to a buddy and neighbor of mine to see if he would be interested a joint wager to confirm vitterd's poker claim. After he read the thread he agreed that he wanted in. He is in law enforcement at the state level and believed that we had an easy $5,000 each if vit showed up with his tax returns as vit stated he would do in a prior bet with FZ in post 83 of this thread. My buddy told me that vit would either pull a no show or weasel out of the bet with some excuse. His exact words were:

Vit, I won't play this little game with you anymore. I couldn't get past page 3 of this thread without feeling like a fool for falling into this little trap....and at the same time feeling sorry for you.
Just a little constructive piece of advice for you (or anyone who openly brags about taxable winnings). I would immediately stop talk of large winnings because I now know that this and other similar sites get visited periodically. The next time you get a request to discuss your prior tax returns, you may not be given an option. There is absolutely no reason you should be openly discussing winnings of any kind, even when a late 30 something Type A starts questioning your character.
If it makes you feel better, I am withdrawing my wager with you. You win, just be smart going forward

So it doesn't look good for ole mountain although I believe if I hired Ace I might get off on a technicality but The Guesser pm'd me the post where I threw my hands up in frustration and said what I said.
It is what it is and the post definitely said I was throwing the towel in. In all honesty, I forgot that I made those comments but I am man enough to own up to them and to apologize to Vit at the same time. I will have to say that I will miss you knuckleheads because I always like a good spirited debate and believe it or not I am a lot more mellow than I used to be; it is easier to get feisty online than it is in real life.
I will honor my word and not post in the Poly Forum and now will focus on the reason I came here to begin with.......wagering information. I will post college football plays this year and occasionally some NFL.
Safe travels amigos and remember that it's better to get out of line in here than in the real world.

You can tell he has no grasp that replying "Brad Pitt has an RV" isn't in any way a response to the fact that he drives to Virginia Beach and Orlando (typical vacation hot spots for people like Pitt, Letterman et. al) because flying would be more than he could pay for.
