When that happens with a forum mod, you get banned.

Ak kinda had a timeout coming.
Quite a few times I tried to discuss something with him, and he doesn't discuss the points. Just the "your a racist loon" type of stuff, when I'm trying to discuss something with him. Kinda gets old and tiring after awhile.
Maybe this timeout will help him to learn that not everyone is racist or a loon, and just because you can't contribute or refute and decide instead to just insult.

I disagree with banning anyone for anything short of personal threats, but I kinda agree with your premise. Aki went off on some people in that thread that do not deserve that title(make no mistake, some do). He also needs to confine the going off on folks comeback to this hellhole, and not Offshore. I've told him that.

There are things about Aki that I like. For one, he provides a tremendous service to the forum with his work on the NBA board. He's not a dope. But when he throws that racist net around almost everyone that riles people up. He's from Alaska. What does he know about black people except in theory? Knowing anything "in theory" when most of the rest of us know things from real world experience should recuse him from the discussion. Instead he jumps in head first.
As for guys ribbing him about his Indian heritage, he needs to grow a pair. I'm part Irish. We take all the same barbs re drinking as the Indians. Difference is we laugh about our heritage. As for that ribbing being "racist", since when did American Indian become a race other than white just like all other shades of white? If an American Indian walks by me on the street, he's simply white to me.

it was the Donald Sterling thread in the main forum where he spent weeks calling me racists and arguing with others about me being racist that killed him in my world. I can't think less of the man since May / June 2014.

An obnoxious, wealthy Texas oil tycoon is on vacation in Dublin and finds his way into the nearest packed bar. He stands up and announces "I hear you Irish are big drinkers!
