.5* Auburn +3.5: This play jumped out at me for a few reasons: 1) WV or should I say Pat White hasn't seen a defense this big, fast, and strong all year. Hes faced teams like Rutgers and Marshall in which he wasn't able to finish....actually he got knocked out. There is good reason why Meyer has adjusted his stance on Tebow's role on the offense. Hes now sold on the idea that protecting his QB is priority one in the SEC. Winning football games comes second...2) Coaching mismatch. First let me say Bill Stewart reminds me of this 3rd grade teacher I use to have that had the whole class running amock due to his lack of leadership and discipline skills. Same can be said about Bill Stewart. I mean hes practically admitted that White runs the team and not him. Also I recall vividly earlier this season when little numb nut Devine was screaming his face at Stewart after a play. What did Stewart do? Nothing just like my 3rd grade teacher. On the other hand Tubberville and Paul Rhoads are solid football coaches that have seen an offense like this before. Actually Rhoads spent the last 8 seasons devising game plans while coaching at Pitt and we all saw what happened to WV last year when facing the Stashers. Another important note is who do you think will make better 2nd half adjustments? Tubberville or 3rd grade teacher 3) SEC vs Big East 4) Burns should play most of the snaps in this game and I think this team responds more so to him than that Todd kid (I was felt like saying kid after a persons name...it feels demeaning yet satisfying.)
That's my in depth take on today's game. May not be a GoSooners or BoxSlayer treat but at least I don't simulate games on a $75 unit to decide on who I bet on. :drink:
