Thanks for the reply GAME. I've never really been big on trends. I use to think that the players, teams, or matchups of previous years has no bearing on today's game. Boy was I wrong! Guess that was my rookie bettor thinking and now I like to incorporate every angle including trends into my handicapping repertoire. I find it amazing that teams play each other a certain way depending on paticular variables. Ex: New England vs Buffalo just here of late. On paper, the Patriots were statistically better in a lot of categories that would suggest a NE would cover. After a review of the trends and situational matchup between these 2 teams, everything pointed to a Bills cover in which they not only covered but nearly won the game. I don't mean to go over board with the info I find within trends so pardon me if I get carried away, (I'm new to this way of handicapping) but I do find it a very exciting way to find angles to beat the book. "1. Thinking there are such things as Locks nothing is for sure
2. Over confidence
3. Not being able to walk away on a losing night
4. Playing with money you don't have
Rules that should be follow in the NFL
1. Never bet more then 3 games a week
2. Always make every bet the same amount there is no point playing if you don't like it 100%
3. Never take a road favourite by more then 10 points
4. Never bet on a QB that has never played a game in the NFL i don't care how good he was in college this is the big leagues
5. Never bet on a QB that hasn't started for his team the QB is the whole team on most teams
6. Systems don't work your better off going to the casino and betting on black over and over again.
7. If someone is on a winning streak and you take his pick and get upset you should not be playing no one is perfect everyone has slumps
8. No matter how bad a team is a division rival always makes guys play better.
9. Anyone at any moment can surprise you on what they can do"
