i dont get why alot people think the line is screaming for Balt action...i couldnt disagree more.
Let me preface this as i don't believe in the vegas trap BS but the line is dropping like crazy. Pinny had it a 5 last night and its now at 3. If vegas was begging for people to take balt, then why would they drop the line??? if anything they would raise it but truth be told alot of sharps and heavy hitters pounded this line when it came out which forced books like Pinny to drop the line from 5 to 3....it takes alot of money to drop the line to a key number to 3. just my opinion and either way this kinda of stuff has no bearing on the outcome of the game. GL to all

not sure you watched the game or anyone else who is saying the chiefs beat up the ravens secondary...yes im a ravens fans so ill give you my home opinion but here is just a few stats on the game...the ravens put up 501 yds of total offense (#2 ranked for week one) and gave up only 188 yds on the defensive side (#3 ranked for week one). Yes the score was much closer than it ever should have been because of two plays (punt block for a KC TD and a Flacco INT that was returned 70yds to the Baltimore 5yd line or so). I'm pretty sure Kansas City didn't get a first down till deep in the second quarter (just looked it up, somewhere around 3 min left in the 2nd) and went on to get only 11 as opposed to Baltimore's 32. Where the Ravens were dominated by Kansas City was on penalties where Kansas City only incurred 3 for 15yds as opposed to Baltimore's 8 for 65 yards. Ravens also played horribly on special teams giving up a punt block, having a missed FG, and terrible kick and punt returns. Just putting this out there for people who are saying the game was close judging by the score and the secondary for Baltimore was horrible, as KC drove down the field only once for a TD and another drive which resulted in a 53 yd field goal.
shane-o-mac great response. like he said check the yards for and against the ravens killed it. only reason game was "close" was punt blocked for td. flacco also got picked and the pick was returned down to the like 6. the ravens defense is the same exact defense its always been. sd is one of the most overated team yea in and year out. 8-8 last year in a terrrrrrrrible divison. they had no pass rush what so ever last night. its a good thing russel is terrible otherwise it could of been a dissappointing opener for sd. now factor in the banged up o line and the ravens blitzing scheme and i dont see why the ravens arent givin a few point imo
well i guess to respond to that they managed to score 14pts in the last two min to beat KC 38 to 24...not like they won by a FG...and im pretty sure SD had to score in the last two min to beat OAK by 4pts..and i never said special teams arent part of the game..i was saying that is an aspect of the game where the ravens were lacking and have to turn around by this weeks game...either way it should be a great game and im looking forward to sunday :toast:
While I believe this is a good point, Cam is three years removed from the team and they will be using Darren Sproles much more while Cam utilized LT during his time with the team and who knows LT's status for this week. San Diego realizes they will be facing Cam this week and they will play accordingly. And I don't believe Cam will be able to provide much more insight than intense film study this week will be able to provide for Baltimore.
