Regarding Tebow; he needs to stay in broadcasting. Other than his "rah-rah" attitude he has ZERO coaching experience. UF's WR coach this year is Chris Leak. He was a GA until Joker Phillips got fired....and UF's WRs are abysmal!
The College Football Playoff rankings have #1 Miss St, #2 Florida St, #3 Auburn, #4 Ole Miss
Every week on philsteele.com they update 2014-15 bowl projections. Thru week 9 they have Alabama playing Oregon and Florida St playing Michigan St. Interesting. That means they think both Miss teams are going down a notch and that Michigan St and Auburn will step up.
When all is said and done if the Playoff rankings are the same as the AP rankings it would make one wonder what the need for a special committee is all about. If they differ it might even make one wonder more. Still arbitrary, kind of like who is flipping the coin.
I think they need to get Tebow involved in some capacity. Whoever they get will be experienced. They already paid the price for breaking in a rookie HC.
Ya know, and I'm just now checking the Forum, that might not be a bad idea. Really! I'm gonna mention something here, anyone starts throwing stones, I know how to find you, lol, but I'm Catholic, and I happen to "tolerate" Tebow's Christian beliefs. Let me tell ya something, I weighed in at a buck seventy-five on the field, and every time I took a hit, I looked up to the sky and thanked the Man I was still breathing. No problem here with someone that believes as I do.

Tebow's parents were missionaries and he has enormous admiration for his mother. What an athlete does off the field is or should be personal. What Tebow did on the field as a college player was physical and he inspired his teammates. I think as nothing more than just being part of the program again even in a minor role he could inspire players still. Being at practices and working with QB's, RB's and even WR's it might rub off on the players in a positive way and he could communicate on a different level than Muschamp or whoever the HC might be. He would be an asset to the program and be a role model for the players. He is a part of their tradition and that tradition is losing credibility at the present time. He might even help calling plays.
An athlete is an athlete, I don't give a damn what your beliefs might be. I'd go down the block and try and walk on the Panthers right now, God knows they could use a guy like me, but you decide in life what you want and don't want. When I played, I wanted to beat every sob I played, unfortunately, the rest of the team didn't see it that way. I have so much pent up today, it would pay a team to hire me for one weekend, they'd get their money's worth in the first quarter.

Sounds pretty much like Okie St from a few years back or Stanford from that same year. Pretty scary for my devils but we've done it on defense with smoke and mirrors. I'd watch out for Zona. They have UCLA, Wash, UTAH and by Devils. I'd see them in really good shape considering they lost to USC because of bad FG kicking and would have one at Oregon. My Devils got thumped/exposed badly by UCLA.Here's one for you. I was looking over Arizona St's schedule. They lost to UCLA. They have beaten USC who was ranked #16 at the time and Stanford who was ranked #23 at the time. They still have to play Utah (currently #17), N Dame (currently #10), and Arizona (currently #12). Now if they win out they would have 1 loss (to a team that was top 25) and 5 wins over teams who were also top 25. Pretty damned good. They are currently #15 in the CFB poll. Remember that at this time last year Auburn was ranked #11.
