Razer, I hear you...and don't want to get into a pissing contest about it. Spurrier is the same. When he came to UF in 1990 he "slung it all over the place" with his "Fun n Gun" offense. Meanwhile, Errict Rhett set the UF record for career rushing yards. But, at the end of the day....BP and Spurrier are similar OC's. They love to pass...but are smart and understand that the running game is very, very important. That was my point in mentioning that Muschamp's D gave up 240 yards rushing to a passing OC.

Muschamp and Malzahn will go together like open flame and jet fuel. Just wait.

Here's an ESPN takeaway regarding L'ville:

Another offensive head coach reinventing his offense is Bobby Petrino, who will lean heavily on the zone read and quarterback run game for the first time in his career. Reggie Bonnafon started the Auburn game under center, but this is true freshman Lamar Jackson's team now. Louisville is rebuilding along the offensive line and dangerously thin at receiver, so Petrino -- like Addazio -- will rely on the athleticism of a young quarterback to make things happen while the defense carries the load.

Dunno about fraud, but I agree they are bad... They will have 3 losses in the regular season, including The Iron Bowl... Their QB threw 3 int's...

Auburn didn't look great by any means but they have one of the coaches in the country, one of the best defensive coordinators in the country, and based on recruiting rankings, some of the best talent on the country. So a bad game? Yes. A fraud? I think that is yet to be determined.

Malzahn and Muschamp should be a great combo eventually...............although one could say the same about Sumlin and Chavis..............The Auburn QB had a bad game and performed well below expectations especially after what I was hearing before then............So it starts with him if they are going to get better.............

GUYS, i was wrong. Cleary Auburn is the one of the best teams in the history of college football. To beat a powerhouse like Jacksonville State in overtime in a dramatic comeback has to go down as one of the greatest wins ever. I change my opinion. Allbarn is the greatest team ever and no doubt they will win the national championship this year.

LOL. Where is everyone now? I said after the first week that Auburn was an absolute and utter fraud. Of course all of the "experts" ripped me for being so off base. Well, looks like I was more than right. Everything I said was 500% spot on.

JR nice prediction, but last over-rated Golden State thread didn't end well so I would tread a little lighter with throwing it in their faces... :blowup1:

I will say you are safe to say Auburn won't make the college football playoff though. puff_>>
