Not a regular but stop by every now and then just to see who most are on....I'm a Dog player and been all my life....Last 2 times here I noticed roots plays.....Every play I think was a favorite and he's a dog player as well....I thank everyone for what you do and hopefully people appreciate and sure they do...I just don't believe root played all those favs but maybe he changed but doubt that....I just say something because I hate to see anyone mislead...If I'm wrong I'm sorry but I don't think he played those games...If wrong truly sorry but I would bet on it.....I honestly don't know but I don't believe he's playing fans, maybe 1 out of 4 but not 100%...I saw root on fnn network in the 80's where he started his career and gave his picks for one year....Early on Saturday mornings I saw and I said to myself that first night and never forgot....He's the only one I'd ever seen on every play I had picked....I followed the whole year and we both did great...He then went pay though and feel he forgot where he came from and got a little to big headed...I think he loss the edge you have to have to beat the book....I went 13-0 one week in the NFL that year and never achieved again but very close...Sorry for clogging but just trying to help and hope not out of place...Just killing time between games as I'm still looking....Wish everyone the Best, Knock!
Savage, no I think they are totally made up.....If not that root is giving out both sides...I could see him playing the dogs maybe but never the 2 favs there, never....I think made up but my opinion....Not necessarily who posted here but where they found....All the plays today, I promise he didn't play those....He's on my plays 80% of time and I know I would not play those 2 favs....My opinion but would bet on it, Knock!
Lol, missed games at 7 but maybe good thing....Ask those who follow Root and ask for his plays...I mean they should know I would think....I've posted games for 20 yrs maybe, you notice things not right and I believe in calling out....I'm surprised those who follow wouldn't know better...Root is a dog player, public mostly plays favs.....Wish the Best, Knock!

Perhaps I wasn't clear with my point which is that Root doesn't have the time or inclination to do the handicapping anymore
but still wants the picks to carry his name, and that he delegated someone else to do the picks OR possibly sold his name
for the picks to whoever bought them and who has an entirely different style of handicapping than he does!!
On the other hand, other than the Pinnacle designation Root has used to for his highest-rated picks, the names
of the other picks have changed dramatically, which just adds further confusion.
Why not write to Al and/or whoever sells the picks(I can't recall exactly where they are sold) and simply politely ask
for an explanation as to what is going on!!

I have been here for 30 years, I never ever post but seriously enough about Big Al, Root, Oskeim, Ratings ect. It’s all about info and plays. It’s gambling. That’s it we take these service plays for what they are . OPINIONS!Thats it. We see them and then in our own mind evaluate them and decide who we want to wager on. There are other forums on this wonderful site to voice opinions on . Me as well so please if you need to blast me. Because I now am guilty too. This is a service play forum , that’s it and for 3 days it’s been bitching about Goty, 1-5 star ratings , regular play, sting play, Bonus Play! Really, it’s real simple this is for entertainment only. Again take these so called experts opinions evaluate and play them or don’t. If so I wish you luck but why not complain in the place where it should be.
