Good luck to all those in contention for the monthly prize.
smart play FW, good luck to you and Gil.
I can confirm that with the emailed picks by FW & Gil, their respective posts have eliminated everyone else from contention (even taking into consideration of no appearance by Sherwood yet).

This is deservedly so for it to be a H2H matchup between FW & Gil as they each have spent a lot of time in top 5 for the majority of the month.

GL, FairWarning & Gil Renard!

Scratch that!! Lemme do the numbers again (I was using a simple calculator instead of using anything else...)

***Scenario Update***

***Scenario Update***

1.) A SD win will give FairWarning the May 2007 $500 monthly prize.

2.) A 3-0 night by Gil Renard (+300) will ****EDIT**** make this a 13-point contest if SD wins with FairWarning at 2,028 points while Gil Renard getting 2,015 points!

3.) This gets interesting with any other scenario (but from this point on, this assumes FW's SD play is a loss at -139 to have his total reduced to 1,789 points):
  • Any loss by TryTryTry will eliminate him.
  • With a TryTryTry loss of any kind, Gil Renard must go 2-1 with a NET 75 points gain to overtake FairWarning to win the May prize. This preclude two combinations, so the ONLY valid 2-1 record would be for a COL & BAL win (+200) offset by the smallest favorite of LAA at a potential -115 loss (for a gain of +85 for the day).
  • TryTryTry can get the maximum of 1,820 total points by going 3-0 tonight. In the case that TB, NYY, and FLA all do win, then Gil *must* go 3-0 with his late games to overtake Trytrytry.
All of the above assumes no cancellations/suspended crap.

I thikn you forgot about THe postman
No. Since FW's only play was on SD -139, and THE POSTMAN! had SD -139 as one of his plays, it's irrelevant on what happens with the SD game between the 2 of them as they would both win/lose the same result for that game.

THE POSTMAN! was behind FairWarning by 246 points at the beginning of the day and THEPOSTMAN! could only add +200 difference with his 2 other plays (OAK, which already won earlier today & pending LAA play). In no circumstance can he overtake FairWarning regardless of FairWarning's position at the end of the night so THE POSTMAN! is eliminated.

I'm an idiot I'm so sorry about the Brewers afternoon play. I didn't mean to cause any confusion or extra work. I was in a rush this afternoon and didn't know that it had gone off already. I just wanted to atleast notify you.

Haha, you beat me by a few minutes. I was aware of it but meant to reply after I did the scenario updates first. Yeah, no problem, that 1st pick is evidently a No Action.

Cheers,
