I'll give you it has been a cool few weeks, but you're quoting temperatures two days ahead !

I like San Diego style weather, but I lived there 1982-1987, never have gone back, never plan to set foot in CA again !
It could be a bit warmer about now, though.

CA will never happen. If I move from CT, it will be the Redneck Riveria. If not on the Gulf Coast, maybe SC or Nashville.

It will never be another state where none of my values are shared

Local news has more optimistic forecasts than the internet did

And nobody has to explain CT weather to me , but a month of substandard temperatures (including record low highs) is not the norm

How do you happen to live in such a blue state, when you are so clearly red ?

CT is almost like California, politically, IMO !

My wife loves Florida, that's an option. But like I already said, somewhere near the shore between SC and TX, with a possible exception for Nashville

Economics of the time will play a roll, so will my wife. She likes the southern west coast of Florida

Luckily, I had no roots left as most friends had left the God Forsaken state of CA, being priced out and taxed out. Texas is a Godsend (with the exception of the city of Austin, but they're still nowhere near the crazies in San Francisco).
