My point is that most of our ancestors came here without any passports or other documentation. Information provided was bullshit. Most of it never tracked properly. If you think immigration today is any different than it was 100 years ago you’re nuts. And we’re going to build a wall to keep out those bad Mexicans!! Seriously?!?! If you think they are the problem, you’re in for a big surprise.

At one point we didn't have cars, the internet or television.

Obama can send 150 billion to Iran without the left batting an eye.. what did that get us ? Where did those funds eventually go ? But a fraction of that amount of money can't be allocated for our security ?

Thi isn't even about "Mexicans are all bad" You don't change demographics. What don't people understand? Especially in a country that is good. This isn't a country not willing to let in different people. This is an endless flood of poverty and random people being let in. Are people this dumb? Here is an idea. Immigration policy: :Let in small numbers(lets say 1,000- 10,000) people who have skills....are educated and speak english and are more likely to assimilate(although with so many different groups here that idea is dead). This benefits America......gives some people opportunities while not taking much away from Americans and they are unlikely to commit crimes. This is not a giant welfare office. Just telling Americans we need to help people will not maintain a society worth living in. Where do we run to when this is a third world hell hole? Destroy America and Europe and no one has a good place to live

I didn't even click on the link but is this legally binding to where the money needs to go towards a wall. Or can this guy pocket $15 million for expenses and say he only had 866k towards a wall.

I agree - why is this even a question? Our President promised us that Mexico would pay for the wall!

they are and will.. just not by Mexico cutting a check like narrow minded folk think that are following the liberal narrative..

If he has an alternate plan why has he wasted two years ? And why does he keep asking for $5 Billion From We, The People?

why does the congress and Senate ask we the people for over 200 billion a year to fund the illegal immigration problem ? we don't want to waste our money on that

I doubt anyone would not agree that Congressional budgets are extremely wasteful. What I am asking is why the keystone idea that our President ran on was that Mexico will pay for the wall and now, when questioned about it, asks all of us to forget it. I believe, wholeheartedly that our President should fulfill his promise, as advertised.

Like I posted earlier , Mexico wasn't going to cut a check , Trump didn't even say that was the way it would happen.. only a fool would think that's the way Mexico would pay for the wall.. The new trade deal saving us billions can sure do it.. Keeping illegals on their side of the wall would actually do it , ( less costs for us ) several times over in fact when you start to think about what its costing us now....

I appreciate and respect what you say about the wall, if our President would frame his budget request like that, it would probably work. Does kind of remind me of the movie Dave, when the President went over the budget, cutting pork until he had enough to finance his program. It’s just a shame , the new reworks on NAFTA do nothing to help anybody but the richest of rich. Why can’t we have a bi-partisan effort and stop framing every action as a battle? We need more cooperation working together and turn down the yelling. Let’s return to the 70’s, argue like hell during the day and drink like hell after work - until we work it all out! Cheers, Mate!
