Danny....

You say the report is being confirmed by others ?

Fine...I'll by that.

By who ? name the sources.... was it " as reported to..." ?

Was evidence of a coalition bomb/missle found ? show me pictures....show me un biased eye witness accounts.

Again...If this does turn out to be true, it's a tragedy....but my point again is, why completely believe anything that comes out of Iraq...while discounting anything that comes from the U.S. ?

My God....iraq is still claiming that that old man with his ancient bolt action shot down that Apache.....do you also believe that ? Mind you, it's a great propoganda tool by saddam to rally HIS troops and public.....but truthfull?....hardly.

Don marco...To take oil out of the equastion would be naive.

Keep in mind that because that civilization in that part of the world is about 1000 years behind the rest of the world and would be even further back if it wasn't for WESTERN technology. (discovery of oil in raghead land)
If the oil is in fact used for the benifit of the Iragy people what the fxck is your problem?

The thing about you socialist and democrats you always have supported this Robin Hood mentality ie: redistribution of wealth..Well how about a redistribution of humanity and knowledge.
You misguided liberals are so afraid of oil barons making more money, but almost take up arms yourself to put money in socio pathic dictarship that promotes the random killing of free thinking people.
Don Marco and others..WHY THE FXCK DON"T YOU GIVE REAL PEACE A CHANCE!

Curious....why Turkey ?

Because no matter how many Kurds they Murder it is fine with us. The U.S. will never attack them, unless Bush decideds to, and if he does you will all be in here screaming about the Kurds Turkey has killed.

Really, you Guys didnt give a D A M N how many Kurds saddam had killed until it became a good excuse to use. That is sad to use dead people to further your own agenda.

I never used them as an excuse to attack another country. That is the difference.

When I come in here saying it is justified for us to attack a country because the leader killed the Kurds 15 years ago ( While we supported it ) then I will be claiming to care about them. I never made the claim.

Dirk,

Danny likes to take both positions. If we stand by and do 'nothing' we acquiese to murder. If we take 'action' we acquiese to murder. So, I guess, we are just murderers.

Aren't the kurds fighting with us against extreme paramilitary iraqi units? Kurds couldn't wait for this day and now they have the backing.

Turkey is the dumbest bird alive. Turkey is no different then the bird. Danny May belongs in Turkey.

We were supplying saddam with the very chemical weapons that he used to commit the murders. If you dont call that supporting it, I dont know.

Danny,
You might want to add that it was Mr. Donald "I didn't fight" Dumsfeld that "sealed the deal" on the sale of those chemical weapons to Iraq (under President Reagan & Vice President Bush Sr.).

I can only speculate, but I imagine that Mr. Dumsfeld must have been intelligent enought to ponder the *tiny* possiblility that Saddam might actually use them. In American law similiar acts are considered "aiding, abetting, or conspiring to the crime", hopefully international law will draw the same conclusion.

IRAQI MISSILES 'MIS-FIRED' (defence commander sacked)
SKY ^ | Mar 30, 2003 | Staff

Posted on 03/29/2003 8:37 PM PST by Diddley

New intelligence suggests a series of Iraqi missiles have mis-fired and hit residential areas of Baghdad, Downing Street says.

The Prime Minister's spokesman said information had been received which indicated Iraq's air defence commander has been sacked due to the poor performance of missile systems in Baghdad.

He said: "A large number of surface-to-air missiles have been malfunctioning and many have failed to hit their targets and have fallen back onto Baghdad before exploding.

"Civil defence workers have been instructed to remove Iraqi missile fragments which fell on residential areas before journalists arrive on the scene." The spokesman stopped short of saying Iraq was responsible for the explosions that killed around 65 civilians in two Baghdad markets this week But he said the intelligence gave fresh reason for "scepticism" over Saddam's claims that the Coalition was to blame for the blasts.

"There is still no evidence that Coalition missiles were responsible for what happened on Wednesday (the first marketplace bombing) and we're still investigating what happened last night (the second marketplace bombing)," the spokesman said.

He added that the utmost care was taken by Coalition forces to target only military installations
